Hi Chantel,
Love all your tips and suggestions on the Marilyn Dennis show. Quick question for you…can you recommend a good woman’s shaver and body cream? I tend to use Johnson and Johnson Baby Cream and/or Baby oil on my body to try and keep it soft but non-greasy. Any tips and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
C
Hi Carla — if you love using shaving oil, I love Cromwell & Cruthers Shave Oil. It’s really reasonably priced ($4.50 at Mountain Equipment Co-op & free shipping!) and lasts for 100 shaves. For body cream, I really love Garnier’s new line of body creams – inspired by spa treatments. They come in green bottles. They’re hydrating but don’t stick to your clothes! For shavers, the more blades the better, so I really love the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor. It has five blades, and the Olay infused into it leaves your legs really soft. — Chantel
I saw you on a recent Marilyn Denis segment and you talked about the new Revlon Root Eraser…..where the heck can I purchas this product. I have been so several Shopper’s Drug Mart and even contacted Revlon.com to ask where in the Mississauga this product is sold. The Revlon site emailed me backed to say it was only available in the US. But I was sure you said it was now available in Canada. Any idea of where I can purchase it close to the Mississauga area, would be great! I really enjoy your segments on the Marilyn Denis Show. Thank you , Tina
Hi Tina,
Great question! I contacted the PR company for Revlon and here’s what they had to say to you:
“On behalf of Revlon, I apologize for the misinformation to the reader from our Revlon Consumer Information Centre and the inconvenience it may have caused you. The product IS available in Canada but only at selected retailers which would explain why she has not found it at Shoppers Drug Mart.
The Root Erase by ColorSilk is available in 8 shades and can be found at Rexall Pharma Plus and Loblaw stores across Ontario.”
Good luck – I am obsessed with this product. I hope you love it, too! — Chantel
Good afternoon Chantel,
I would like to send a parcel of products for your test staff, please let me know what is the protocol for this.

I watched you on Marilyn Dennis show yesterday. I do not apply makeup except for a eye liner and lipstick or lipbalm. Part of it is because i have problem skin and do not want to irritate it. Can you suggest where or who would teach me to apply makeup properly without looking too makeupy.
Hi Vaishali,
Thanks for watching – and that’s great that you don’t want to irritate your sensitive skin by applying too much makeup. You’re smart! I love the makeup artists at M.A.C counters at The Bay. They really know their stuff, and they’re always willing to have you sit down and they can give you pointers and show you how to apply only the amount of makeup you really want to apply. If you live in a city with Murale stores, those makeup artists are also fantastic.
Chantel
Hello Chantal,
I would really love it if you would be willing to share your make up routine such as what foundation brand(shade),powder shimmer that you use or if you use these items and pretty much what your make up routine is and what products and shades you use.I have a very similar skin color, eye color and hair color as you and love the look of your make up.So if you would ether email or on Marlyn share your routine i would super grateful.Thank you in advance.

On a recent Marilyn Denis show, you touted the virtues of SockWell compression socks when travelling. Are these available in Canada? If yes, where?
Many thanks for your assistance.
