Today, Toronto joins NY & Paris for the first time with its debut Macaron Day … so if you’re going to have a macaron, make it today. And why wouldn’t you? They’re light as air, the proceeds go to a good cause, and these little gems are so lovely-looking, they’re almost too pretty to eat. And you know how I feel about things that are pretty. There’s always room for silly little pretty things. Always. And the calories? Well, you can walk them off as you go from bakery to bakery.
Here’s a list of participating bakeries. A portion of the proceeds from all macarons sold will go to benefit Red Door Family Shelter.
