Yesterday, thanks to the ladies at CND, I got a complimentary Shellac mani at Ritual. A soft pink looks good on anyone — if you choose the right tone. You have to go two shades lighter or darker than your skin tone, otherwise it’ll look too washed out. But sometimes, there isn’t a perfect shade at the salon.
Which is when a good nail tech will layer two.
This is CND Strawberry Smoothie — a translucent shimmery pink I’d normally never go to because of the shimmer — layered with Romantique, a pretty, but very pale pink. Strawberry Smoothie makes it look like Romantique, but with just a bit more pink. Perfect.
